Game Recap - Peachtree City MOBA June 13

It was a rough night for the Emerald Force women's team. They just could not seem to get things going on either end of the ball, as they struggled offensively and gave up a couple easy goals defensively. As a result, Peachtree City will head back to Georgia with a 4-0 victory over the Emerald Force.

The Force held Peachtree City scoreless for nearly 30 minutes but it was Alyssa Beck who got behind the defense and snuck a goal in, giving Peachtree City the lead. Although Peachtree City held possession for most of the half, the Emerald Force only found themselves down 1-0 going into half-time.

Coming out of the half-time break, Peachtree City kept on rolling the way they did in the first half. They continued to pressure the Force's defense with constant offensive attacks, and give up nothing on their end of the field defensively. Consequently, the Force gave up three more goals in the 57th, 66th, and 84th minutes. Peachtree City then cruised to a 4-0 win on the road over the Emerald Force.

The Emerald Force women's team do not play again until June 28 when they will host Chattanooga FC for the women Force's final home game of the season. That game will begin at 7:00pm at the Sansom Sports Complex in Knoxville, TN. Tickets for home games are available for purchase at the door 90 minutes before match time. Admission: adult - $5, child - $3, children ages 8 and under - free.
