Weekly Preview June 11

The Emerald Force soccer teams had two completely different weeks of play this past week as the men's team pulled out two wins at home and the women's team suffered two losses on the road.

The Emerald Force women's team will be back home on Wednesday to take on Peachtree City MOBA. Peachtree City defeated the Force 6-0 on June 4 in Georgia. The Force look to bounce back from that loss and will host Peachtree City at the Sansom Sports Complex on Wednesday, June 13 at 6:00 pm. Tickets are available for purchase at the door 90 minutes before match time. Admission: adult - $5, child - $3, children ages 8 and under - free.

After beating the Asheville City Soccer Club 1-0 on Saturday, the Emerald Force men's team hope to push their winning streak to 3 games as they travel to North Carolina to face Asheville once again on Thursday. That game will begin at 7:00 pm at Memorial Stadium on Thursday, June 14.

The Force men's team continue their road trip and close out the week as they head to Georgia to play the Georgia Revolution FC for the first time this season. That game kicks off at Henry County High School at 7:30 pm on Saturday, June 16.
